Auth0 transformed authentication from security minefield into solved problem—it had to be Auth0. Architecting authentication, we faced a decision: build our own (risking vulnerabilities and months) or trust a provider handling enterprise security at scale. Auth0 emerged as the only choice. JWT architecture integrated with Rails API and React frontend, providing stateless authentication scaling effortlessly. Email verification ensured only verified users access AI services—critical for preventing abuse and maintaining API quota. Management API enabled programmatic user management; documentation made integration straightforward. We needed Auth0 because building secure, scalable SaaS demands authentication infrastructure battle-tested by millions. Their reliability (99.99% SLA), certifications (SOC 2, GDPR), and transparent reporting gave confidence identities are protected. Auth0 let us ship features instead of spending months on auth—users enjoy seamless, secure login meeting modern standards.

I prefer Auth0 over alternatives because it provides a complete authentication and authorization solution without having to build complex security infrastructure myself. After wrestling with Firebase auth for weeks, switching to Auth0 was like night and day. The Stripe integration was practically plug-and-play. Their pre-built components saved me from coding authentication screens from scratch. Would never go back to Firebase's confusing docs and limited customization.

love the integration with supabase. I only wish there was a way to have social logins on web viewers too.
