I store most of my passwords in this app, both for work and personal use – very handy when you have more than 10 social networks 😁

Complex passwords, documents, notes, credit cards and papers: so many things, all important, only one place to keep them, but easy and very safe. You don't have to be a software engineer to use it

I use this as my password manager as its free + open source. I'm pretty happy with it, it fills all the functionalities of a password manager regular people would need.

Something of a minor inconvenience (I'm using the Chrome extension) is that the UX is a bit inconsistent. Sometimes clicking an icon button in an item opens its viewer and clicking the item itself activates autocomplete, and sometimes clicking the item opens its viewer. I keep on mistaking the user icon as 'view item' but instead it copies the username hahaha πŸ˜‚

Other than that, I like and use the 'generate password' and 'autofill last login for this page' keyboard shortcuts a lot. Maybe a suggestion is to have separate keyboard shortcuts for generating a password with random characters vs one that generates a passkey. I prefer passkeys but when some websites have password requirements I need to change my password generation settings and its inconvenient to change the setting back to passkey every time.

Pros
+ free tier (4)+ open source (7)+ chrome extension (3)+ secure password generation (3)+ password autofill (2)

Bitwarden is my go-to password manager, and I absolutely love it. Its user-friendly interface makes managing my passwords a breeze, and it works seamlessly across all my devices. The fact that it's open source adds a layer of transparency and trust. I appreciate the end-to-end encryption, ensuring that my data is secure both on my devices and in the cloud. The free version offers robust features, including secure password generation and two-factor authentication. It's reassuring to know that even if I forget a password, Bitwarden has me covered. Overall, it's a fantastic tool for keeping my online accounts safe and organized.
