Simple, creator-friendly platform with lower fees than alternatives. Perfect for receiving support from SmoothCSV's community without complex subscription tiers.
The feeling when I got the email for my first ever online coffee, priceless!
Special thanks from us!
Buy Me a Coffee makes it super easy for supporters to show love. With just a click, people can support my work financially, helping me keep building and improving my projects. It’s simple, friendly, and a great way to turn appreciation into actionable support.
Terrible experience with Buy Me a Coffee. If you’re thinking of bringing your donors to this platform, consider this a warning. Their customer service is practically non-existent; email responses can take weeks, and they’ll likely suspend your account for no reason. I had my Chase account connected with all the required verification details, yet there was nobody to actually talk to. As a result, my donors are now disputing the payments they made, and I’m left at a loss while trying to move everything over to another platform. Stay away.
Buy Me A Coffee has made it easy for users of my free service to show their appreciation. It's simple to set up and has a clean, appealing design.
Great platform for creators, people recognize the brand now so they are more likely to donate through the platform than somewhere like PayPal directly in my experience.
I've used Buy Me a Coffee for years to host my digital products and offer an avenue for my YouTube subscribers to support me financially. It's a clean and simple platform for accomplishing both those things!
I've used Buy Me A Coffee for over 3 years and it's been really helpful for my donation based Zoom classes. I also get the odd coffee bought for me, from my YouTube content. Recently, my account hadn't been used, so I had to re-verify some things, which took maybe 5 working days to confirm and it was all good. I like that I can message people directly on there, rather than use an email address, like I was doing on PayPal - Feels safer to me.
Has anyone been able to get any money paid by them? I was not able to withdraw something like €5. The replies about people violating their terms and not providing enough evidence is a total lie. I am actually very surprised to see that they answer to comments on here, regardless of what kind of communication you send them (evidence or emails etc.) they never reply to you. Anyways, if you're ever able to get a withdrawal from them, what's the point using them since they use Stripe with extra fees on top and zero customer service? You'll be better off going direct with Stripe where you'll end up with more in your bank account after withdrawal and you get a real customer service that's there to resolve any issues if you ever have some!
They refused a refund which I did not approve the second reoccuring transaction. No decency and dignity to alert users a reoccuring transaction is about to occur. I don't mind supporting content creators or whatever, but don't try being sneaky to take peoples money.
Don't bother using BMAC, they will jump through hoops to not pay out despite being given evidence it's not in breach of TOS, they let you build up enough money to be able to withdraw and then find any excuse to not pay it out, AVOID
Found out about BMC from a favorite art youtuber, I love the platform itself! Though if you're planning to switch to it, don't be like me and do it right when you're desperate for money due to an emergency or anything, It has been almost a week and still can't make my first withdrawl - and I have filled out my information extensively and have not recieved any emails about missing something, so I imagine their team may be overwhelmed.
