Coolify saved us from vendor lock-in hell. While Vercel is great, we needed the flexibility to self-host for enterprise clients who want on-premise deployments. Coolify gave us Heroku-level simplicity (git push to deploy) without the Heroku pricing nightmare or platform limitations. Compared to setting up raw Docker + Kubernetes (too complex), Railway (limited customization), or CapRover (smaller community), Coolify hit the sweet spot - one-click deployments, built-in SSL, database management, and monitoring, all open-source. We can deploy ZunoForms on any VPS for $5/month instead of paying $20+ per app on managed platforms. For developers who want control without complexity, and SaaS builders who need deployment flexibility, Coolify is a game-changer. Plus the community is incredibly helpful.

Yes I use Coolify. I needed a simple yet powerful PaaS. My code is structured as a monorepo with individual Dockerfile for each repo and a unified Docker compose which Coolify uses to deploy to my Docker Swarm. Works like a charm. It internally uses Traefik and Lets Encrypt. My frontend Dockers uses Nginx as the webserver.

Is an amazing product to easily deploy full stack projects. In my case, is the solution after heroku leaving the free tier. I tried some solutions but they lack some features, are outdated or didn't work well. Coolify solves every problem that the alternatives has. Need the option to make backups, but I think that it will come more soon that later because is listed, and they listen the community.
