I am coming from Jekyll, i chose 11ty among multiple static site generators. It allows to build complex HTML outputs easily from multiple sources of data without any framework!
Eleventy has been my go-to site generator for years upon years. It's incredibly flexible and has never let me down.
A super fast way to spin up a static site and get that product page online.
Couldn’t have shipped UnitToolbox without Eleventy. The more pages I add, the more time it saves me. Perfect for a project that will eventually scale to hundreds of URLs. Clean, fast, and with great docs — I’d happily use it again.
It's modern. It's fast. It has good tooling support. There are lots of templates. There are integrations with popular tech such as tailwind and webpack. If you are not allergic to NPM, then give this a shot.
Love that 11ty can work around whatever bizarre folder structure I happen to be using on a given project with a million and one ways to get information into it.
Incredibly flexible and quick to get up and running. Documentation could be better.
11ty is literally responsible for bringing back my desire to make for the web again. I call it my enabler, and it has powered all of my projects since 2020. Especially with v2 released, the features meet every need I have from blogs to authenticated membership sites. I love how the structure is up to me and my project needs, with easy extensibility when those needs grow and change. Plus, the community strives to be inclusive and helpful, which is encouraged by Zach. Thanks for all your hard work making and improving Eleventy! 🎈
Eleventy is the SSG I reach for first. I actively run both my personal and business websites on 11ty. The product's focus on HTML and CSS is refreshing in a sea of JS generators.
