We are a small team - with a startup's budget and limited ability to hire experienced marketing / content creators to generate creative content for promoting our app. But after discovering Flixier, we've been able to create high-performing social media reels and edit them all ourselves and without having to outsource this key role. Flixier has to be the easiest to use video editing software on the market - it's saved us countless time and money when it comes to creating promotional videos, and was so simple that even someone with ZERO video editing skills (like ourselves) was able to pick it up right way.
That's an online app (so no need to install anything on your PC) that keeps improving constantly, is lightweight and is excellent for subtitles, which is my main use. I have never seen an app which is so easy, intuitive and has very useful and smart options to make subtitling fast and easy. You can also edit youtube videos directly from the link, which is something I haven't seen any other online app be able to do, and I searched quite a lot.
I have been trying o find a simple background noise reducer for ancient cassette songs I recorded and found it with Flixier! In addition, it allowed me to turn the mp3 int a video using a single from - essentially an old picture by simply dragging the image. For on online studio, I have not found anything better!

Overall a good video editor and really good import ability from youtube, but also a terrible money grabber. You can't export more than 10min/month on the free account and they don't tell you that until your ready to export which most likely forces you to buy the product. I think the quality is roughly the same though so that's a plus. My main problem is the free export time should be more or they should give people a warning before starting.

Excellent transcription capabilities and a very simple and straightforward interface. I haven't used other services yet, but the audio to text transcription is really high quality and very fast. I had to transcribe several Italian audio files for work and it didn't miss a single syllable. Absolutely recommended.
The intuitive functionality and range of options (trimming, text, tts, adding images/symbols) is better than anything else I have seen. NB: Check the final product in the Flixier app before exporting (counts toward monthly limits). Overall: Fabulous product, well developed, best of its kind.
