Just to clarify things: Do you know you have notifications but choose to ignore them? And this tool constantly reminds you of that appointment/meeting? I'm not entirely sure if I have an issue, but I tend to juggle multiple tasks, set up notifications, and be aware of them, but I don't bother to check them.

App won’t let me in as it’s blocked by a paywall even though I am paying a subscription. Sent feedback to try and get them to fix this - no reply. I’ve gone through to the website to stop paying for something I can’t use and it’s now saying my password is wrong even though it’s saved and hasn’t changed. Tried to click reset password and it’s not sending me emails to get back into my account even though I know the email is right because I get other emails from focus bear. Feel a bit like I might’ve been scammed here and I can’t stop my subscription!!!

Cons
subscription issues (1) responsive support (1)

I really like Focus Bear. As an Assistive Technology Support Officer at Third level, I see how Focus Bear can support students who struggle with procrastination, completing tasks and planning. One of my favourite features is helping students stay focussed when reading online as it prevents students drifting or clicking off the point as it prompts them to get back on topic or relevant content. Finally, I find the developers supportive and responsive to suggestions and ideas.

+ distraction blocking (5)+ responsive support (1)

Focus bear is fantastic at making my ADHD brain focus on what I need to be doing, not what I want to be doing. After the trial, my work output drastically dropped so I had no choice but to subscribe. Would recommend.

This app was a discovery. It has helped me quite well especially with blocking distracting websites, adding friction to things where I tend to just get lose track of time.

I do want to explore how the IOS app version could help me out. Keep up the good work.

I've been using focus bear desktop for a few months and overall, this helps me immensely with my bipolar 1. I feel a massive difference in my stress levels, sleep, energy and focus when I use it versus when I don't. The break features help me manage stress, burnout and brain inertia. The routines helps me anchor the day. I love that I can customize them too so that I can either listen to podcast, follow a video or use another app. I love the habit frequency bit to guide my days. It reminds me to take a break to help prevent my symptoms from flaring up. It helps me focus and I feel a surge of dopamine every time it confirms I finish a focus block, or completed my routines. Highly recommended!

Pros
+ stress management (1)+ routine customization (2)+ break reminders (2)+ focus blocks (1)
