Oh and one more thing: I'm hosting an X Space with their team this Friday, September 26, at 3 PM UTC / 5 PM CET / 11 AM EST to talk Product Hunt for developer tools.

This is, by far, my AI coding tool on daily use. The features on offer and the polished state of the vscode extension, are the best selling points. You see what is happening with/to your code in a streamlined way and with easy ways to go back some checkpoints on the changes and re-iterate until you get what you need. Everyone's got to try it.
I've used Continue.dev in the past. But Kilo Code is the most feature complete of the two.
As a complete beginner in coding—but with a lifelong passion for programming—Kilo Code has been a game-changer for me. Working as an accountant, I used it to build two practical tools: one for expense management and another for warehouse tracking, both tailored to my company’s needs.
My manager was so impressed that I received a formal recognition and bonus!
Thank you, Kilo Code, for empowering non-developers like me to create real, impactful software. I’m your biggest supporter—keep up the amazing work!
It stands out for its clear handling of agent roles that collaborate effectively, especially Orchestrator mode, which breaks complex tasks into subtasks and assigns them to specialists like Architect (for planning) and Coder (for implementation).
I used Kilo Code in VS Code recently for the first time to build a subscriber search app for my company. It worked great. The interface was easy to navigate. I liked the ability to switch between Ask, Code, Architect, and Debug modes. Switching between models is a breeze. I will definitely continue to use Kilo Code for building my apps.
After exploring platforms like Cursor, Windsurf, and Trae, I transitioned to Kilo Code as my primary development tool. Its robust customization options empower me to tailor my software development process, boosting productivity and fostering greater control over my projects.
Tried Kilocode AI for a short time, so far pretty smooth to use, quick setup, and it helps speed up coding. Great for small tasks. I’d like to give it another check to see if it can actually help fix bugs in a serious project.
I ran across Kilo a while ago by accident, well before it landed here in PH. I was jumping around between 2 or 3 other products depending on what I was doing. Once I started using Kilo I've never gone back - I've been incredibly happy with it so far. It just feels like I spend less time telling it to "try again" and more time just coding. They've got me hooked now.
Developing my AI project with Kilocode has become a pleasure. It understands me better and doesn't make any unsolicited code changes without hallucinating, which is nice. I also tried developing a WordPress plugin, and it created the plugin using a very nice design language.
This product is amazing—it lets me use any LLM, local or remote, without restrictions or complaints. I've tried other agentic development software before, but they were all tied to a provider and came with limitations. I'm sticking with Kilo Code.
This AI coding tool has been the most flexible in terms of handling complex functionalities and roadmap . Personally , the orchestrator mode is the best so far . I am still learning to optimize the usage and prompts especially the rules and context.
