Metabase is a really solid Open Source Business Intelligence tool. No brainer for any team to add. Even if you are using other tools (Looker, Tableau, etc) it makes sense to add a little Metabase instance, because it's so easy to quickly look into data.

I've been using Metabase for over a year now, and it’s always great. It’s by far the fastest tool to set up, incredibly intuitive, and makes it easy to unlock valuable insights from your data.

Metabase has been a game-changer for us! 🚀 Super easy to set up, intuitive UI, and the ability to explore data without writing SQL is a huge plus. The embedded analytics feature is especially powerful if you want to bring dashboards directly into your product. Big fan of the open-source flexibility too!

Its features are relatively simple, but it is easy for a non proficient user to write requests in the tables even without knowledge of SQL or programming language. It is also easy to share and assign data with the team. The weak point of the software is when you export your data, currently emailing doesn’t work well and PDF has limitations.

I deployed community edition to build our PoultryCare SaaS business insights. Easy to deploy, friendly to build, and enterprise grade as open-source. All wins :)

Extremely easy to set up even on your local machine for some quick-and-dirty BI – you don't need to use Excel to crunch the numbers or create charts. As a designer, I love the UI – simplicity and usability! Good job, Metabase.

Metabase is an open-source browser-based BI software that works with many databases including mySQL Mariadb etc. It can be self-hosted so I installed it on-premise for my small company. Its features are relatively simple, but it is easy for a non proficient user to write requests in the tables even without knowledge of SQL or programming language. It is also easy to share and assign data with the team. The weak point of the software is when you export your data, currently emailing doesn’t work well and PDF has limitations. (V0.48). But overall great and useful software for data analysis.

Love Metabase, I think they should invest in features to help companies create a KPI dictionary/glossary
