I really wanted Motion.page to work for my project, but unfortunately, it turned into one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with a WordPress plugin. While the visual interface and scroll animation tools are impressive in theory, the actual implementation – especially when combined with complex page builders like Divi – is unreliable and buggy.

Pinned elements often fail to work, image sequences behave inconsistently, and getting everything to play nicely requires endless tweaking of custom CSS, z-index hacks, and layout rework. Even when following best practices, things break for no clear reason.

I spent more time debugging than designing, and in the end, it simply wasn’t worth the headache. If you’re working with Divi or want predictable behavior out of the box, I can’t recommend this plugin. It might be better suited for custom-built themes or lightweight setups, but not for high-end page builders.

Having used Motion.page, I can attest to its user-friendly interface, making complex animations quick and easy. As a creator, I appreciate its powerful capabilities and echo the sentiment of its founder, David, who envisioned and brought to life 'After Effects for WordPress.' Kudos to the team for a stellar product that has transformed my design experience!
