• AI-Powered Painting: The software allows you to paint simple shapes and lines with a palette of real-world materials like grass or clouds. Then, the AI model fills the screen with realistic results in real time. You can swap materials (e.g., changing snow to grass) to instantly change the entire image, offering endless creative possibilities​.
• Customizable Palette: NVIDIA Canvas lets you customize your image to your specific needs. It includes nine styles in Standard Mode and eight styles in Panorama Mode, as well as different materials ranging from sky and mountains to river and stone. It also allows painting on different layers to keep elements separate. You can start from scratch or get inspired by included sample scenes​.
• Support for ° Panoramas: The application now supports ° panoramas, allowing artists to quickly create wraparound environments and export them into any D application as equirectangular environment maps. These maps can be used to change the ambient lighting of a D scene and provide reflections for added realism.
• Workflow Integration: After creating your image, you can import your work into Adobe Photoshop for further refinement or combination with other artworks. Panorama images can also be imported into D applications such as NVIDIA Omniverse USD Composer (formerly Create), Blender, and more.
