I’ve been using OpenArt’s Consistent Characters, and it’s absolutely blown me away! As someone who loves creating unique characters for stories, games, and art projects, this tool has made me 10x more creative and productive—like the tagline says. The ability to generate consistent, high-quality character designs with such ease is a dream come true. The interface is sleek, and the results are stunningly detailed and customizable. I’ve already whipped up a whole cast of characters for my next project in record time. Huge props to the OpenArt team for building something this innovative—definitely a must-try for anyone in the creative space! Can’t wait to see what else they come up with.
Honestly, OpenArt AI surprised me. I’ve tried a lot of design tools, but this one is so intuitive. You just describe your idea, and within minutes, you have a beautiful visual. Great for quick campaigns or when you need eye-catching posts without hiring a designer.
I’m working on a visual novel, and OpenArt Characters helped me keep the same look for my protagonist across 20+ scenes. It’s almost magic. Occasionally the eyes go wonky or the clothing details drift, but overall it’s a godsend for illustrators
This tool is chef’s kiss for short-form storytelling. OpenArt’s one-click video generator cuts out the hours spent editing and gives creators high-quality outputs almost instantly. It feels like Canva + AI, but tailored for video content. Huge potential for influencers and solo content creators.
The tool definitely has the ability to be the next Kling AI. I generated multiple images mostly of aliens singing in a large concert and then made a video out of it. I don't know how many credits this tool offers for free daily but I could only generate images for what it offered me. If the free credits are increased, then I see it potentially becoming a very popular AI tool in the future. Overall 3 stars because of low credits.
2 years, that's how long I've waited to start taking AI animation seriously.
One of the reasons being the tech then was falling very short when it came to animating an actual cohesive narrative that was directed, frame by frame, and not randomly generated scenes of 10 seconds without no control of what is happening in between. Animation done the "old way", where timing and space matter, if you know what I mean.
With Story, and Chat feature previously, OpenArt has made an AI illustrator's and animator's dream come true. I've been using the platform for a long time now, and once again they have delivered what some of us creators have been secretly wishing for.
I couldn't have been any more excited about bringing my narratives to life.
I'm a very analytical person; everything is chosen in a curated and comparative way. Cost, quality, reputation, and short- and long-term benefits. I came across OpenArt in a desperate search for visual consistency. As a multimedia entertainment producer, achieving that was vital. Both in generating a graphic style and in building worlds and characters, everything I had researched was inadequate. Then I found three solutions, and one of them was OpenArt. The final data came in, and the reality was that, from a technical standpoint, there was a tie. Then I began internal company research at a human level: Who were they? Where did OpenArt come from? What were their goals as a team? That's how I came across their most curious, tender, and fun YouTube videos. That's how I came to know and grow fond of Helena, Monzon Media, and Coco. I saw them work, laugh, explain, and be truly connected to their tool. On the other side of the spectrum, there was silence and anonymity, but on OpenArt's side, there were faces, hearts, minds, and a constantly evolving array of tools that made me feel that, finally, in that space, dreams had a place to come true. I'm not effusive in my reviews; I tend to be more reserved and distant, but this product has truly won my professional heart like very few others have in my life. I recommend it to the average user, a professional, and a venture capitalist. OpenArt is simply brilliant.
I paid for a month to try all the features, it is garbage. I tried so many times to convert photos to Anime or Ghibli and all my African-American friends ended up looking white, my main problem was that all the female friends were looking like males, no matter what I did, cropping just one face, or choosing a character from the list, just because they had short hair, they were looking male versions with beard. So upsetting, I couldn't use anything, also I cancel the subscription during the month I had paid and they still charged me for another month, I requested a refund and they replied that it is impossible so I would have to enjoy another month of this crappy AI. Do not trust them.
OpenArt has continued to scam their users and highest paying subscribers. In a one month time period, they have decreased the amount of credits a user has by half and also increased the cost of creating something by 200%. This has happened twice now over a one month period after promising they would give back to the subscribers they wronged. Will be canceling subscription ASAP.
I subscribed to this platform believing in the value it provided, but the recent changes have made it clear that loyalty means nothing here. Not only have they increased the cost of generating images, but they've also reduced the number of credits in each subscription plan, effectively making users pay more for less. This kind of pricing change feels like a blatant cash grab with no regard for long-term users.
On top of that, when I voiced my concerns about these changes, instead of addressing them properly, I was kicked from their server. Silencing paying customers who raise legitimate issues is completely unacceptable. This speaks volumes about how little they value feedback or their users.
To anyone considering subscribing—be very careful. The customer service is dismissive, and they don’t seem to care about the people who have supported them from the beginning. I will be cancelling my subscription and making sure my experience is known.
It helped me create the icon that I have used for the application, and I think the icon it created is 1 million times better than anything I could have created myself.
