There’s a lot to love about Bedford House. For one, the shared balcony is a game-changer—it’s where I spend most of my mornings sipping coffee and journaling. The backyard and rooftop are equally lovely, offering plenty of space to unwind. My room is cozy, with just enough storage to keep things organized, and the common areas are well-maintained. The only downside is that some basic maintenance requests can take a bit longer than expected, but the customer service team is friendly and responsive. It’s a great place overall, with just a few minor hiccups.

Pros
+ shared amenities (12)+ well-maintained facilities (14)+ responsive management (33)
Cons
maintenance response time (5) small room size (5)

Outpost was awesome during my stay! Their support team was super quick to help whenever I had a problem, usually fixing things within hours. Everything was so easy and hassle-free. I’ve already told a few friends about them and would definitely stay again. The best part? No stress at all with moving in or out!

Pros
+ responsive management (33)+ move-in ready (15)

I moved in hoping to find more of a balance between socializing and privacy. While the space is nice, it’s a bit too social for my taste. I’m here for the duration of my project, but I’m looking forward to a quieter place when I’m done. It’s a good spot for someone who’s more outgoing.

Cons
limited privacy (1)

I’ve been living at Outpost Atlantic House for three months and it has been a great experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the subway with plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. My room is comfortable and gets good sunlight, and the shared kitchen and lounge are always clean. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the community vibe makes it easy to meet people. For me this place feels like a real home in the city.

The rooftop and shared spaces were where I met most of my NYC friends. Very social setup, but still had quiet corners when I needed them. Fun, young, and well-located — great for extroverts.

I was skeptical about co-living, but it turned out to be an amazing choice. Sharing spaces with others taught me valuable lessons in communication and adaptability.

The artsy vibe of Bushwick + Bushwick House = creative heaven. We shot scenes in the hallway for class and no one complained. Not a typical dorm, thank God. Felt like a home filled with ideas.
