This is going to be a game changer. Digital product processes redefined for truly collaborative teams.
Figma is great and all, but we are vibing with PenPot. Powerful software, yet simpler and easier to use than the biggest guys in this space. I am a lightly technical founder and I am in PenPot every day drafting ideas for a better UI for ChadGPT.
Love how Penpot positions itself as a collaborative space for designers and devs, that Figma-to-GitHub bridge is a big unlock for real-world teams. Messaging hits well with open-source lovers too. Curious how you’re thinking about community-led GTM vs more traditional PLG here?
The project is full of promise and offers an outstanding alternative to Figma and other similar tools. The close parallels/alignment between design and code are gratifying about the work and the resulting designs. This project has the potential to revolutionize the way we approach UI design.
We see a lot of potential in Penpot, great tool!
Close to Figma functionality right now with the potential to become a much MUCH better collaboration tool in the future. Adobe has a very bad reputation for randomly killing products in its portfolio, so as soon as they purchased Figma, I started looking for alternatives. This, I believe, is the most mature and well-designed software project in this category. If done right, we will soon stop comparing it to Figma :)
O projeto é ótimo, um bom substituto para o Figma. Porém falta ainda muitos recursos que são necessários para agilizar processos de trabalhos.
