An excellent IDE for... PHP!

The other part of the codebase was made using PHP storm. As a long time user i still can't recommend this IDE enough for any kind of webdevelopment.

I’ve used a lot of editors, but PhpStorm is just next level when it comes to Laravel and PHP development. The auto-completion, deep integration, and real-time analysis save hours of debugging.

I use PhpStorm for all of my PHP development. It has some plugins available that make it a great tool for Laravel development.

I can't imagine working with PHP without PhpStorm. It comes with the necessary tools and plugins right of the bat. It's a fully-featured IDE without me spending countless of hours trying to get it to work as I need, unlike alternatives like VS Code.

Unfortunately it's a memory hog, and recently with the AI tools it's gotten even worse for my Intel MacBook Pro. But the alternatives haven't been any better in this regard either. It is what it is.

This IDE has changed my (coding) life. So many smart features like autocomplete save me thousands of keystrokes and precious minutes looking up syntax. Integration with Git makes shipping a breeze.
