The premise is amazing! But the CPU usage is through the roof right now. The community so far has been great and they are very actively developing the product. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for this product.

The LTM-1 feature is magical, it helps keep the long-term memory for my workflow and help me use my favorite LLMs inside most of my IDEs.

Pieces is the kind of tool you don't know you need until you have it, and suddenly, you can't live without it. Even if you dislike AI and think it produces nothing good, you still should use pieces, at it's core it's a context powerhouse. If you write a lot of code that you could reuse in another context, it's the tool for you. That's how I found pieces almost 2 years ago.

The AI features on top are helping you get things done!

It's amazing that they offer access to almost every top-tier paid LLM models for free. Their latest innovation, LTM, is truly a game changer, saving me a significant amount of money that I would have otherwise spent on ChatGPT or Anthropic. That’s why it has become my go-to tool for everyday use.

Looking forward to improve on the copy-paste cycle!

Another point is accessibility across firewalls. Look at Cody - they do it right!

Pieces AI copilot helped me code the website https://CliqRex.com in the javascript framework SVELTE that I had never used before. I 100% recommend PIeces!

They impose query rate limits rather soon. Additionally, their terms of service explicitly state: "By using our Services, you grant us permission to access Your Content."

Pieces is a fantastic solution for companies and individuals who value data privacy. All the AI stuff happens on-device, which is unusual right now in the space.
