very nice app, I am using since 1 year for english and french lessons.

I did have amazing lessons with tutors. I cannot say any bad words about people who are using the platform. The one star is for the support team and 'problem-solving' of Preply. It was incredibly difficult to avoid silly talk with the bot and start a conversation with a human. The person wrote one answer to me and disappeared for good. I waited around 15 minutes, but she did not come back to me. My problem was not sorted out at all. I was pushed away as far as possible because I wanted to leave the platform. I do not need to use it anymore. So, I asked for a refund of my unused balance, and I read that it is impossible. Guys, be careful!!!

I really enjoy the platform overall, it helped me a lot with my language learning process. I really like that you can chose from a very large list of tutors and find the one which fits your personality the best! One thing that can be improved is sharing documents. A separate space which is not the chat where we can share them would be great

I’ve been using Preply for about 6 or 7 months now taking both English and Spanish lessons. There are tons of tutors to pick from and I really like that you can watch their intro videos to get a feel for their vibe. I’ve watched quite a few and ended up liking all the tutors I went with. The platform’s super easy to use. I can quickly check my notes and vocab after lessons. I also enjoy looking at the AI lesson insights, they’re just fun to scroll through. There are some practice exercises and learning materials too, but I haven’t used those. The only thing that’s a bit tricky is the subscription system. You buy a lesson package and if you don’t use it in time, it expires. It does push you to stay on track but if you or your tutor take a break or you just skip a few lessons, you kinda have to play around with it. I usually just move the renewal date or shift lessons between my two tutors. It works, but yeah, you’ve gotta keep an eye on it

Preply helped me fall in love with language learning again! After trying other platforms, I finally found what I needed with Preply: personalized lessons, amazing tutors, and total flexibility. Learning feels natural and motivating. I’m making way more progress than I expected. Highly recommended!

I’m learning English on Preply and I really love it. I was looking for a teacher who could work with advanced students, as I mostly wanted to maintain my level and not lose fluency from lack of practice. My teacher, Lindsay, is great at correcting my mistakes, but also gives me the freedom to speak as much as I want. I’ve found myself learning more than expected and actually improving my level. We alternate between her own materials and the ones provided by the platform, which I find interesting and really useful. The classroom environment is smooth and user-friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. One of my favourite features is the Lesson Insights at the end of each session. They highlight what I did well and where I can improve. It’s very motivating to see how I’m progressing—especially in vocabulary, grammar range, and speaking speed.

Good platform, I have an English teacher and she is really professional and always well prepared for the lesson. I had some refund issues and the CS team was super quick and helpful. The only thing is that if you have a very popular tutor, it can get difficult to find slots in their calendars so rescheduling can be tricky, so I reach out to the tutor and she schedules some lessons directly for me which is helpful.

Simple, straight-forward and the teacher teaches you directly in the platform so you don't have to use another video calling app. I've been trying to learn Spanish on my own for a few years now and I started using Preply around 9 months now and I've made much faster progress. I think Preply for grammar and conversation + Duolingo for quick practice is a powerful combo!

Preply is an amazing product. I have been using this platform to learn Spanish for the past 2 years. Honestly the improvement I saw when switching from Duolingo to actually conversing in Spanish is crazy. Would highly recommend Preply for your language learning journey.

I've been learning Spanish for work for about 6 months now, and I've already seen huge improvements! My tutor is really flexible with scheduling and constantly adapts to my needs. I was a bit hesitant to sign up for yet another subscription platform, but their plans are actually very flexible. I also love the fact that I can add extra one-off lessons when I need them. I hope they add more learning resources or gamified features in the future so I can keep learning even when I don't have a lesson scheduled.
