ProtonMail is the best alternative to Gmail I know.
Their commitment to privacy, the free tier, and the modern UI make it a no-brainer when looking for a valid email provider.
Great email service. VPN has some interoperability issues with things like pocketcasts.
Protonmail makes the mail service secure. We need more products like this. However, it might be more cost effective.
I have been using ProtonMail for years and I must say I am impressed with the service. The login process has always been smooth, no drama, and the UI is great and easy to use!
I really ❤️ their products & services. I really dislike the fact that free option is so much restricted and limited. You have to pay subscription to enjoy privately simple things (like creating email folders and rules, able to enjoy 2FA on passwords etc.). Although they deliver great privacy services, as their priority, they don't provide great functionality too, to their free option, which's kind of disappointing.
The best email service on the web
Best and working email service with end to end encryption. Also has VPN features.
Great but i like more mailbox.org
A great privacy focused set of tools. Though there Linux support isn't great, and they often don't work with open standards very well.
I've been with Proton for a long time now, and their progress and commitment to the mission is fantastic. Their product is so much easier to use than Gmail or similar too.
