We needed a CMS that could handle lots of different content types — professional profiles, articles, events, and resources — without boxing us in. Sanity made it easy to design exactly what we needed.

Using Sanity, I created a Chrome extension to help me save links quickly without having to input them manually. The Content Lake system from Sanity and their API made it so easy to do so!

I use Sanity for Acclaimed.dev as they provide a configurable user interface in Sanity Studio for managing content. This allows developers to productively define the Studio UI in code - benefiting from version control - and then non-technical team members can take over in the managing of the content.

I’ve been using Sanity to power my blog, and what I love most is how flexible it is. The content editing experience is smooth, and the schema customization means I can structure my blog exactly how I want. It feels lightweight for editors, but still powerful enough for developers to build more complex content workflows.

On the backend, I’ve connected Sanity’s API with Python automation scripts, which makes updating and managing content super efficient. Whether it’s scheduling posts, pulling blog data into other apps, or running batch updates, the API plays really well with Python. For me, Sanity hits the sweet spot between being developer-friendly and easy to use day-to-day.

Its pretty good out of the box and the general DX around it is really quite amazing. Until you need to integrate a plugin then its hit and miss. Would love to see better support for internationalization and TypeScript types generation. Also certain common UI elements like tables would be nice to have built in. Despite these drawbacks, I am using this across multiple projects, and I now find that it only takes minutes to setup on a new project.

Seriously I'm switching to contentful, the side panel takes HALF THE SCREEN. I can't write articles properly because the edit bar disappears. Really don't recommend.
