Shortwave keeps inbox chaos under control. The AI-powered workflow feels faster and smarter than Gmail or Outlook.
Simple, easy to use, and better than the alternatives.
It's my daily driver for email. I love it.
Smooth, fast, AI-powered. Two thumbs up.
Been using Shortwave for a bit more than a year. Absolutely love it! Nothing else has made managing email load as easy. They also provide exceptional support.
I always preferred Inbox to GMail, and now it's back in the form of Shortwave. Quick to use, easy on the eyes, and has some rad AI integrations, way ahead of Gemini in GMail.
Fantastic search. Great feature of managing side-threads in email. It has made me actually want to use email again!
I've used every possible email app there is including the basics (Gmail, Inbox, Spark) up to the premium ones including Canary, Hey and Superhuman. Nothing comes close - Shortwave is hands down the best email app on the planet. This app has it all - it's multi-platform, thoughtfully designed, super responsive and the email philosophy just makes sense. They've incorporated AI in the best ways that are actually designed to help (not just as a buzzword). And the features like bundling, the slide out panels, scheduled send and receive, auto-unsubscribe, inbox reorganization, keyboard shortcuts - it's insane!
They're a small but responsive team and go out of their way to make you feel good about feedback you're giving. I'm so glad I stumbled upon them - this is a team to watch and a product to use for a long long time.
crazy how this app isnt upvoted to heaven right now. best email platform ive ever used. and ive tried literally every single one—except Superhuman cuz who tf would pay that much for email?
Shortwave is disgustingly fast and has every keyboard shortcut you could ask for.
But what i care about is how easily i can process emails. I was never inbox zero on the daily—until shortwave.
I keep being flabbergasted why everyone passes this one by.
I've been using shortwave for the last couple months and i really love it. Congrats on this new launch. I moved on from Superhuman and switch to shortwave, great product!
Most AI assistants are thin wrappers are chatgpt. This is really integrated into multiple systems to make scheduling, emailing and interacting a lot easier! Great job Shortwave!
I used Superhuman for years. I switched to Shortwave about six months ago. Superhuman has bells and whistles. Shortwave organizes emails in a way that allows me to process them quickly and intelligently in a way I never could before.
Once I got my bundles dialed in. I can open Shortwave and, at a glance, see the entire big picture of what's come in and instantly know where to put my attention next.
I also have whole categories of emails that Shortwave knows not to even both showing me until, say, Tuesday at 1pm.
Their AI alone has saved me lots of time. I'm not one to have an AI compose anything for me, but having it summarize long incoming emails is a godsend.
I HIGHLY recommend this app.
Been using this since alpha. It's not a simple gimmick stuck on top of GPT like most AI these days. It actually helps through assessment of existing material and simulation of writing style. As an ADHDer the biggest benefit it brings is that "i don't want to answer this simple email because it's too hard" scenario where I'd leave it for months unanswered. Now I just prompt the AI and it gets me unstuck.
Loved the premise but disappointing experience: asked the AI if it could archive all the emails from a given sender. Bot said yes if I upgraded to premium. I asked it to confirm that functionality - which it did. I upgrade and first thing I ask it to do is to then archive those emails. It tells me then it can't and doesn't have that capability...
