While the new team is still in transition from the acquisition(?) and some features are missing from Spark 2 in the newer Spark 3.0, I still very much love how much my experience and relationship to my email has vastly changed for the better. I actually ENJOY email now.
Spark has revolutionized how I handle my email inbox. Intelligent inbox sorting keeps me focus on the most important emails + the ability to snooze emails and schedule them for later is truly a genius move! It's become an essential tool for managing my email efficiently. 🪄
Sparkmail went from an incredible app to the slowest, most unreliable, constantly crashing app of all time. I can't go more than two days without the app freezing on me. It blows my mind how the development team took such a wrong turn. Stay away from Spark. It's upsetting to say this because I used to love Spark. But their latest version basically ignores the most basic and critical aspect of a good app: performance. If I have to wait 2 seconds for an email to open up then you're failing miserably.
I love Spark! It has boosted my productivity so much. Only thing I wish would improve is the calendar integration, it doesn't currently support all of my calendars...
Helps organize for the most part, lacks a read receipt function. Templates are decent but the variables never work. It's decent
Spark is excellent for managing emails! The smart inbox and collaboration features make staying on top of messages so much easier. It’s clean, efficient, and perfect for personal and professional use!
This is the only email app that I've stuck with long term. I have around 8 emails accounts that I manage with Spark.
One of the nice to haves with Spark is that if there's a new sending it won't go directly to inbox, they'll ask if to allow the sender or block them. So it doesn't end up cluttering the inbox - and keep spam out of the inbox.
There's also an AI summerisation feature that's also nice, cause I can set emails from certian senders to be always summerised, so newletters are a breeze to go through.
The best feature is probably that I only have log in with one email address when setting up on a new device, and it'll sync all the email addresses. No need to log in to all the accounts one by one.
Smart inbox intelligently categorizes personal emails and newsletters which is amazing. I always receives my email without any delay.
Spark is a convenient email client that automates the management of different email types and switches between work emails effortlessly. I hope it can become smarter with AI-generated emails, such as supporting partial modifications or prompt templates.
Great product but the premium cost is a bit on the high side for personal use and the free version lacks a bit in the basics such as blacklisting.
better sync, design, good UX, nice product
Spark helps me reach Inbox Zero every day.
My Spark workflow:
Delete and archive daily emails
Snooze emails for reminders
Pin emails as tasks that need to be completed or replied to.
Set Aside emails in case I need to review them later.
Create folders for long-term projects, courses, and clients.
I have been a Spark user for several years, and I believe I've even used the early versions. Unfortunately, I am currently in search of another email client as I am no longer able to use Spark effectively. I find it has become slow, and the user experience has become challenging.
I believe there is always an opportunity to either revert or improve, starting with your new idea but without losing your true essence. I am eagerly awaiting to find you on ProductHunt with v4, and regardless of the client I will be using, I will download and try it.
