I really enjoy using Taskade as my go-to task management app. Its AI integration has made it even more powerful and effective.

Love it! I tried saying "OKR for Finding Product Market Fit" (a daunting task, I know) and it was great. This is one of the better implementations of GPT-4 that I've seen, and it's crazy that it's not behind a paywall.

Taskade looked like a good fit for our async planning. I used it personally for outlining goals and to-do lists. My team liked the layout, but we struggled with syncing and occasional lag. It’s promising, but the experience didn’t quite match the expectations we had.

I tested Taskade for task management and outlining. While it’s powerful, I found it too open-ended when I just needed fast structure and clarity—especially during solo builds. ChopTask stood out because it removes decision fatigue. I type an idea, and instantly get an organized, prioritized task tree.

If you’re a fan of dynamic task lists that can expand into subtasks and unlock deeper functionality, Taskade is a standout. It’s especially powerful when used in tandem with Notion—leveraging both platforms can create a surprisingly effective workflow.

What really sets Taskade apart is its UI and branding. The use of gradient pops throughout the interface adds a vibrant, modern touch that makes it genuinely enjoyable to work in. While it may not be as feature-heavy as Notion in some areas, the overall user experience is smooth, intuitive, and visually inspiring.

Accidental Renewal Nightmare - Zero Refund Policy and Disappointing Customer Service

Initially, Taskade seemed like a promising project management tool. However, my recent experience with their renewal policy and customer service has been utterly disappointing and frankly, unacceptable.

Like many busy professionals, I occasionally forget about subscriptions. My business unfortunately closed down several months ago, rendering Taskade completely unnecessary for my needs. Due to this closure, Taskade was not in use at all for months leading up to my yearly subscription renewal. Regrettably, I overlooked the renewal date and was charged for another year.

The very next day after the accidental renewal, I contacted Taskade support requesting a refund. I explained clearly that I had not used Taskade for months, had no intention of renewing, and had logged in only to cancel my subscription after the accidental charge. I emphasized that there had been absolutely zero usage of the service since the renewal, and no benefit derived whatsoever.

Despite this clear explanation and immediate contact, Taskade flatly refused a refund. They cited a rigid policy stating refunds are only for new subscriptions, not renewals, even in cases of accidental renewal and zero usage. This policy is completely inflexible and demonstrates a lack of understanding for genuine customer situations.

What's even more frustrating is the complete lack of customer care following their initial rejection. After sending a detailed follow-up email explaining my situation further and highlighting the unfairness of their decision, I received no response whatsoever. This complete silence is unacceptable and demonstrates a disregard for customer concerns. They clearly prioritize rigid policies over customer satisfaction and fairness.

This experience has left me feeling incredibly frustrated and cheated. Taskade's unwillingness to offer a refund in this clear-cut case of accidental renewal and non-usage is simply bad business practice and shows a lack of customer empathy.

I strongly advise anyone considering a yearly subscription with Taskade to be extremely cautious about their renewal policies. Be aware that if you accidentally renew, even if you haven't used the service and contact them immediately, you will not receive any understanding or a refund. Their 'customer service' in this situation has been non-existent.

There are many other project management tools available with far more customer-centric approaches. I will now be pursuing a chargeback with my credit card company to recover my funds, as Taskade has left me with no other reasonable option.

THE BEST! My 'boyfriend' at work. I use it every single day and it takes my work to the next level. I use it to organize my tasks and the AI features are unbeatable. The software is also improved constantly which is why I am always excited to use this app and there is no turning back!

I don't understand the raving reviews of this tool. It's far too complicated to be useful. I don't even know what it's supposed to be. A wiki? project management tool? automation platform? I think it's trying to be too many things at the same time and definitely isn't for small businesses with less than 5 or so team members.

I use this product to organizing the businesses I am launching. It is fantastic because you can change the formatting of the things you wrote about with the click of a button, from mind map to pdf document and back again! It's great for visual thinkers.

Very good and powerful AI inside Taskade. Very nice mobile app on top of destop app and web version. Still waiting for Notion like document creation and then 5 start!
