Things helped me stay organised while working on my first app project. Now, I rely on it to track product feedback and plan improvements for the upcoming release of BeanTune.
I've tried so many productivity apps, but Things 3 is the only one that stuck. The design is just chef's kiss – clean, minimal, nothing screaming for attention. It's weirdly calming to use :) I enjoy opening it in the morning to plan my day. I feel genuinely excited to organize my thoughts each morning.
My go-to app for tracking my day-to-day tasks and expanding upon my goals.
Pause & Resume Repeating Messages Going on vacation or need a break? Swipe to pause reminders. Ready to re-engage? Swipe to resume. It’s that simple.
Great looking app Always reliable & pretty easy to creates tasks | projects. But creating repeating tasks is not easy. Biggest disappointment is that after all these years we cannot check off task’s & there checklists that repeat ahead of time.
I have been a long time Things user. It's my go-to app to organize my life or work. Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I will sit down and open Things and start making tasks and lists to put things in order.
Needless to say, Things is a beatifully designed app. You can feel that it's made by a group of thoughtful builders with great taste.
What I like about the most is the markdown editor. It feels so fast and it's such a pleasure to write on it. Maybe it's just me, but my projects notes are written in Things along with the tasks... it just feels right.
Another thing I like about Things is being able to navigate with keyboard pretty much all the times without having to leave the keyboard and this allows me to manage my tasks super efficiently.
Slippod's core UX is influenced hugely by my personal experience of using Things. If you like Things, it will feel at home using Slippod.
Things is a beautifully designed task management app that has captured my heart. Its clean and intuitive interface makes organizing my personal life a joy rather than a chore. The app's minimalist aesthetic not only pleases the eye but also reduces distractions, allowing me to focus on what truly matters. What I appreciate most about Things is how it effortlessly helps me structure my daily activities and long-term goals. With features like projects, areas, and to-dos, I can break down complex tasks into manageable steps. The app's seamless integration across Apple devices ensures that my personal organization system is always at my fingertips.
Good old Things 3 is solid, fast, and best-in-class. Unfortunately, it develops very slowly.
Simply the best to-do app out there. Fits greatly with the GTD methodology, allowing the right amount of flexibility without never over-complicating it. The UX, even years after the initial release, is still unmatched. And it's just a joy to use.
Its my daily tool for organising my hectic work life.
Pretty. Lovely. Consistent. Also, trapping, unsustainable, lacking and über-slow to evolve. I've had a love-hate relationship with Things since their very first version, up until their last release. I got tired of waiting and compromising with other apps to do what I need. Leaving Things3 was a real nightmare, as I had so much in there. CC chases highlights in the AppStore to exist, and has little to no interest in user feedback. A very expensive one-thing only tool, at times where everyone in the room is smarter. If only others could copy it's perfect parsing add task extension.. I am far and well away from it.
I love the Apple Watch integration, the automations, and the way you can use Siri / Shortcuts to stay on top of Tasks. Such a clean interface!
This is the perfect Todo list app that I was looking for finaly. I won't be looking for any other Todo list apps anymore! While the price may not be particularly cheap, it will cost more if you want to sync it with other devices. However, it has value in itself, and there is a free trial for the desktop ver, so please try it out.🥳
