Key at our company to get things done 🚀
Great way to organize planned features.
Still the best app for the handling of tasks and tasks alone. There's apps that do more, but they don't handle tasks with the simplicity and power of Todoist and with its affordable price point, it's a bit of a no brainer for me to keep this one around.
-
True task hierarchy Todoist has subtasks, but they’re limited and can get lost in long lists. In Rechecker, any task can be a full checklist you can open and work through in detail.
-
Clean, minimal interface No clutter, no endless menus. Open the app and instantly see what matters.
-
Simple folder organization Instead of complicated labels and filters like in Todoist, Rechecker uses an intuitive folder structure to keep projects and life areas separate.
-
iOS-first design & native UX Todoist is cross-platform and sometimes feels less native. Rechecker is built specifically for iOS, following Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines for smooth gestures and animations.
-
Instant checklist creation Quickly add a new list or sub-list without extra steps or pop-ups.
-
Perfect for complex projects Todoist works well for linear task lists. Rechecker shines when you need multi-level structures where any point can expand into its own detailed workflow.
-
No feature overload Todoist can overwhelm beginners with tons of settings, integrations, and features. Rechecker is intuitive from the first tap.
It was amazing for years... now it seems to be falling behind with AI agents, thought I have not found a better alternative. It needs a LLM operator to whom you can talk (or chat) and understands the context of all your tasks and projects so that it can modify them. Like you would tell chatgpt.
My go-to for staying sane as a founder and parent. It’s clean, reliable, and helps me juggle deep work, quick wins, and the chaos of daily life — all in one place. I’ve tried dozens of productivity tools, but I always come back to this.
I’ve tried a bunch of task apps, but Todoist just works. It’s super clean, easy to use, and lets me type tasks naturally like “Pay bills tomorrow.” It syncs everywhere, works great for personal and work stuff, and keeps me organized without feeling overwhelming. Honestly, it’s my go-to.
I've always admired its clean design, cross-platform power, and how it balances simplicity with depth. It’s a go-to for serious productivity, and it inspired me to build something laser-focused for daily habit flow — like a lightweight companion to it.
I've been using it for many years and I love all the features, especially how it works in terms of the recurrence of tasks and the use of natural language.
Shout-out to Todoist for making task management effortless. With its clean interface, cross-platform sync, and powerful features like recurring tasks, priority levels, and collaboration tools, staying organized has never been easier. Whether you’re managing personal projects or team workflows, Todoist keeps everything on track.
Hands down the best to-do app I've ever used. All of the development for Throw with the Pros was managed in ToDoist along with all of the features and marketing efforts I have yet to build.
I rely on this daily for personal tasks and work. Extremely reliable and robust, without the fluff.
