Twilio is an essential tool for any business that relies on communication with customers. Their platform is incredibly versatile and easy to integrate, making it simple to set up and manage various communication channels. Their APIs are well-documented, and their customer support is responsive and helpful. I highly recommend Twilio to anyone looking to streamline their customer communication processes.
Twilio made it incredibly easy to integrate SMS into our reviews funnel. Reliable delivery, great docs, and scalable from day one. They also helped us validate our phone numbers with US telecom companies & US campaign regulations. If you're building anything customer-facing with SMS, this is the gold standard.
If you want to use cloud in telecommunications, it offers a great infrastructure and its documentation is very good. However, there are too many alternatives and unfortunately the service fees are very high. If it can maintain its competitive position in terms of fee, it is a very good platform.
Easy to use and setup at first, but don't expect any customer support! Had a phone number from Twilio to handle some incoming SMS messages, until we realized that it's stopped receiving from many sources... There's no direct option to create a support ticket, so you have to spend several minutes chit-chatting with the useless AI chatbot until it let's you to do so. And all the support cares about is to mark your ticket as "Solved" instead of actually solving your problem.
It is not possible even to sign up in the service, account is blocked immediately without any reason. Support is not reachable. I couldn't even log in once...
Twilio provides reliable communication APIs, but their pricing can be a bit steep for smaller businesses.
