Great alternative to Retool! Very advanced low code UI builder.

UI Bakery allowed us to dramatically speed up the development of custom systems by accelerating our front-end development by a good 3x times. With UI Bakery, we can not only build front-ends faster, but we can also get usability assessed quicker, iterate and improve our front-ends, and overall speed up our system development workflow. Their tool has a lot of capabilities, and we can add unrestricted custom components, so we can basically build anything with it, just like with traditional custom development. Their enterprise plan is really worth it, as it gives direct access to their team on Slack, and they are very very good about helping you with your needs and giving you not only support, but also improving their product and listening to feedback. I am extremely extremely happy that I have decided to adopt UI Bakery in my company.

The UI Bakery application typically runs very smoothly, it looks good out of the box, and most importantly, their support team are truly incredible and responsive. We're very satisfied with UI Bakery.

I originally started with 3 Low-Code Solutions for our application:

1. Retool
2. Appsmith
3. UI.Bakery

Myself personally, I created the application in literally all 3 before choosing my favorite.

Reasons for my selection:

1. Price...clear and simple...no price per user, no price per database call, etc...the competitors are VERY quick to hide these details.

2. UI...we presented our demo to quite a few people, and UI Bakery stood out as the clear winner

3. Customer Support...I have never quite met a company that is SO engaged. The chat window is INSTANT. Meeting requests are very fast and often the next day

4. This tool can be used for simple applications or complicated ones (such as mine with heavy Javascript coding). It really covers it all.

If I could give them 7 stars I would!! It is hard to describe just how good UI Bakery is. It is an amazing resource for anyone looking to quickly and easily create web-based applications. With a little bit of knowledge, you can quickly connect to any number of cloud-based data sources and create workable applications in no time at all. It's super easy and if you run into issues then the support is fast and helpful.

I know basic Javascript and basic SQL but I am definitely not a coder. I am currently creating a comprehensive in-house CRM designed to automate client communications. By using the in-built API calling functions it is possible to integrate with any number of systems (such as Quickbooks, Stripe, Integromat (now Make) etc) allowing you to create complex workflows and automations that simply wouldn't have been possible without a team of developers and a very large budget. UI Bakery is a game-changer for us and I HIGHLY recommend spending a bit of time understanding its capabilities. Your efforts will reap significant rewards.

For those familiar with the bigger names in this space, you will instantly be able to use UI Bakery and you will quickly recognise that the commercial model of UI Bakery is much more attractive - providing all required functionality without the excessive (enterprise orientated) costs charged by the competition. Their approach is enthusiastic and refreshing and I find the team a pleasure to deal with.

Don't be put off by the smaller size - there is an experienced and established team behind UI Bakery. If you check the forums you will see support is fast and helpful and checking the roadmap (also publically available) you will see they are actively releasing new features and improvements every week. Highly recommended
