I used the Couchsurfing hangout feature extensively and it had a large positive effect on my life.

Couchsurfing is a great platform—I’ve seen many of my fellow countrymen use it, and it’s been really helpful in finding a place to stay while traveling. The idea of connecting travelers with locals is amazing and adds a unique human touch to travel that hotels can’t provide.

That said, I think the front-end could use some modernization. A fresher and more intuitive interface would make the experience even better and more welcoming for new users.

Overall, it’s a fantastic service, and with some UI/UX improvements, it could feel as modern as the concept behind it.
